Paula Bernstein, Ph.D., M.D.
|
Paula Bernstein, Ph.D., M.D. has been in private practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center since 1980 and recently served as Associate Clinical Chief of Gynecology. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr Bernstein received her B.A. from Barnard College, her M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine and her Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology. |
She completed her internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Bernstein has had a long-standing interest in communicating medical information to the public and has particular expertise in menopausal medicine and hormone replacement therapy. She is the author of Carrying a Little Extra-A Guide to Healthy Pregnancy for the Plus-Size Woman (Penguin Putnam) and of Woman to Woman, A Gynecologist’s Guide to Your Body (Bantam). She will be providing comprehensive menopause and hormone consultations at Westside Medical Associates of Los Angeles located in Beverly Hills, California.
