Preparing to See the Doctor

Our medical assistants will greet you and escort you to one of our exam rooms, where important measures including blood pressure, pulse and weight will be made and charted.

• Please bring an up to date list of medications including dosing instructions  contact information for any physicians that you want correspondence and test results sent.
• If there are any special issues that you will want to raise with the doctor please let the medical assistant know so that we can deal with them more efficiently.

Our medical assistants have been trained to perform a number of important technical functions including:

• The placement of Holter monitors and 24 hour blood pressure monitors
• Assisting with the performance of stress tests
• Blood drawing
• Performing a variety of diagnostic testing order by your doctor including spirometry, CV Profiles and BioZ
• Assisting with enhanced counter pulsation therapy
• Pacemaker follow-up
• Follow-up pharmacy calls
